Roxas finished smashing the computer, the one that ruined his life. He swung around angrily and stalked off into an unknown room where he found Sora, fast asleep.

DiZ appeared before him. His eyes narrowed, his hand clenched tightly around the keyblade as he swung it back and forth wildly, attempting to attack him. He was familiar. He was the one who did this to him. It was all about that Sora!

"My heart is my own!" Roxas cried, spinning around. Everything has gone white.

When Roxas awakened, he found himself face to face with....

[Roxas is tired of this cooking adventure and picks an ice cream for dinner.]

No you can't. You'll get bored and start asking questions and you know it.

[He doesn't even bring up the ice cream. It's not like Roxas is the only one in this house who eats ice cream for dinner.]

[Roxas gives him a challenging look before going into the living room to sit on the couch, with his ice cream. He sits back at the end, drawing his knees up.]

[Lea follows and flops down on the couch on his back, taking up the rest of the available space (and then some). Really, now it's just a waiting game. Roxas will probably finish that ice cream, sit perfectly still until he gets bored, then start to fidget. If he doesn't get irritated and tell him to stop and they don't pick up some old argument, that's when the questions will start. It's almost become routine.]

[Roxas eats the ice cream and licks the stick. He smiles at it after a moment, but doesn't say anything.

He sits still. He gets bored.

Roxas taps his fingers against his legs. Yep. Sitting there in silence. It feels like forever, but he said he wouldn't talk to Lea, and he won't.

His fingers still for just a moment. He tilts his head and looks at Lea.]

How was training anyway?

[Right on schedule.]

Frustrating. Fire's always been good enough for me, but nooo, gotta learn everything else now, too. I keep trying and trying, but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to be on the same level as the rest of you.

[Gaah, stupid honesty curse. Usually it'd be something like "Didn't even break a sweat," but nooo.]

Why? Of course you will. I'm not a keyblade master. I think.

[Lea can do anything, pfft. What is this doubt he's talking about?]

[If you only knew, kid.]

I bet you could be if you wanted. I mean, you can manage two Keyblades and I'm only now just managing one. I knew it was going to be hard, but...

[He shrugs, cutting himself off. The more he talks, the more it just comes out, after all.]

I don't really know how they work...and I'm not sure they're mine anyway. Aren't they Sora's?

I don't know. I don't understand how any of that works. There was always so much going on with it that I decided I'd just focus on what I could do something about. I remember another boy, too, before any of this even started, who looked just like you. I didn't really think about that much until recently, but that has to be connected, too.

[Arrgh, he didn't mean to bring that up, either. Roxas, where are your dumb questions?]

[Roxas blinks.]

Another boy like me? Who is he?

No idea. It was a really long time ago and just for a few minutes. One of those things that seems like it's going to be important later, but then other stuff happens and you just forget.

[And considering the "other stuff" that happened, you can't really blame him.]

That's weird, I guess.

[Sounds confusing actually. Roxas mulls it over for a bit. He pokes at Lea's leg absently.]

How long ago? Were you a Nobody?

I don't know how long ago, actually. I've kind of lost track of time a couple of times, but it was before I lost my heart. Me and Isa met him in Radiant Garden before we even made it to the castle.

Huh.

[Roxas rubs his forehead. It's complicated and he's not sure he's remembering it all.]

[Lea nudges him.]

Don't worry about it. If it's important, it'll come up again.

Kay. I won't Lea.

[Sometimes he gets a strange feeling like he's not able to remember anything that's going on and it's starting to bug him.]

I feel weird.

[Lea sits up, immediately worried. Usually when Roxas says that, it's just a reaction to some emotion he's not used to, but he's always afraid it's going to be something worse.]

Weird how?

Just...

[Roxas is cut off as his eyes roll back and he slumps against the couch.]

[Lea is on his feet immediately. He knows he shouldn't shake him, but to hell with it. He's shaking him anyway.]

Roxas! Roxas! Hey, don't do this to me, come on!

[This is all his fault, opening his big mouth when he shouldn't. This is why he never talks about these things. If anything happens to Roxas because of this stupid spell, he...]

[Shaking doesn't do much good. Roxas isn't hurt or reacting much at all. He's alive, as alive as he's ever been, it just looks like he's sleeping.]

Dammit.

[He shouldn't panic. He should just take a breath, call someone and figure out what to do, but that would mean possibly finding out that there isn't anything to do. They were never sure that it was even going to work, bringing Roxas back like they did, so what if this is it? What if it's stopped working?

He just doesn't have any strength left. He was already so tired and now...he just sits on the floor and leans on the couch and stares at him.]

Don't do this.

[Luck is with them, it's not long, five, maybe ten minutes when he stirs slowly, blinking as he brings a sluggish hand up to his face. What just happened exactly?]

[By the time Roxas wakes up, Lea himself is half asleep and doesn't notice. He's just kind of propped up against the couch with his head on his arm.]

[Roxas sits up, rubbing his eyes. He blinks owlishly at Lea. He must be really tired to sleep like that. What should he do? He might get cold. He slides off the chair slowly, stepping around him to go find a blanket.]
