Roxas finished smashing the computer, the one that ruined his life. He swung around angrily and stalked off into an unknown room where he found Sora, fast asleep.

DiZ appeared before him. His eyes narrowed, his hand clenched tightly around the keyblade as he swung it back and forth wildly, attempting to attack him. He was familiar. He was the one who did this to him. It was all about that Sora!

"My heart is my own!" Roxas cried, spinning around. Everything has gone white.

When Roxas awakened, he found himself face to face with....

[Rude, Lea. Roxas puts one piece on the plate then another. It looks like cake, chocolate cake with white frosting. It's a little thick, but Roxas takes a big bite.

There's a pause.]

Hey it's great!

Yeah?

[Then he'll brave a bite. It's...well, it's no surprise that Roxas would think that it's great. It seems to have been made with "when in doubt, add more sugar" as the backbone of the recipe, but it's edible and the kids had meant well, so he'll eat it.]

Not bad for a first try.

Thanks! We worked really hard on it.

[It is full of sugar, but Roxas is pleased with it all the same. It came out looking like cake, even after the whole mess in the kitchen.]

I could tell. You worked pretty hard on trashing the kitchen, too. What were you two even doing?

[A little mess on the counter he could understand, but...]

Well we couldn't really agree on some things, that's all. Sora threw flour in my hair.

If you're gonna fight, take it outside! Geez, one of these days I'm gonna come home to a smoking crater.

[And here he is scolding the kids about playing nice in the house. He really is getting old.]

No you won't, we didn't set anything on fire!

[Roxas gives an odd glance to the side. Well, nothing important anyway.]

What did you set on fire?!

[Don't think he didn't see that!]

It was just a teatowel! I swear! It kinda touched the thing in the stove and it caught fire!

You owe me another tea towel.

[At least he got a cake to make up for it. Though it's lucky they didn't actually burn the house down.]

No baking without an adult from now on.

Fine, I'll get you another tea towel. Maybe that can be your birthday gift.

[He huffs a little bit.]

I can bake if I want to!

Hey, you don't give a guy a replacement for something you SET FIRE TO as a present! And NO you can't bake unless someone is around to make sure I still have a house when you're done!

[Geez, Roxas!]

I didn't set fire to it on purpose!

You still set fire to it.

But not on purpose! I didn't hold out my hand and set it on fire!

[Roxas holds out his hand in demonstration but fortunately does not summon the flame.]

It still caught on fire, so it still counts! No baking without adults!

Okay okay, we'll just invite Riku next time!

Why do I think that will only make things worse...

[Roxas just grins at him and finishes his cake.]

[That's an evil look, kid. Lea manages to get through his cake, too, but his stomach isn't thanking him for it. Roxas is gonna get the rest of that thing all to himself.]

What's that look for?

Nothing!

[Roxas clears his plate to the sink, licking the last of the frosting on his finger and surveys the room. He considers it a success after all there's an edible cake here.

Uh huh. Sure. Nothing.

[Not after eating that much sugar.]

[Wait until he eats the rest of the cake Lea.]

Did you like the cake?

Yeah, I did. Really sweet, though. Do we have any sugar left?

Uhhh, maybe!

[Roxas grins, pleased with himself. At least Lea liked it.]
