Roxas finished smashing the computer, the one that ruined his life. He swung around angrily and stalked off into an unknown room where he found Sora, fast asleep.

DiZ appeared before him. His eyes narrowed, his hand clenched tightly around the keyblade as he swung it back and forth wildly, attempting to attack him. He was familiar. He was the one who did this to him. It was all about that Sora!

"My heart is my own!" Roxas cried, spinning around. Everything has gone white.

When Roxas awakened, he found himself face to face with....

[Lea hugs him close and relaxes for the first time in what seems like forever. This is okay. He can have this.]

Yeah, I think I do too.

I know I can go somewhere else. But I don't want to.

[Roxas thinks Lea wants to hear that, and it's true. He's never wanted to really be away from Lea, or Axel. He never thought of it. It doesn't seem like a real option. He'd miss him too much.]

[He's never going to truly believe that Roxas really understands what's out there for him, but he can accept that it's what he wants for now.]

I don't want you to, either.

[And there's that. He promises himself that this will be the only time he ever says it.]

[Roxas rewards him with a bright smile at that and he cuddles to him eagerly. He worries sometimes that Lea is getting sick of him and his incessant problems.]

[Lea worries about him (a lot), but he's never going to get sick of him.]

Don't get too comfortable. You have to be starving by now.

[Not that Lea shows any sign of moving.]

Kind of, but this is nice too.

[Roxas shrugs. It's impossible to get Lea so compliant.]

[Lea is kind of impossible, yes.]

Don't start complaining when your stomach starts growling.

[He pokes him in the belly for emphasis.]

Well when it does, I'll tell you and you can get dinner.

[Roxas smiles at him and sighs contently. It's warm and comfortable and somehow it feels right like that. He might not understand love now, but someday he will. Of course it might go faster if Lea educated him on the matter.]

[Lea is just figuring the whole thing out himself, really. It's not like he's exactly had the best track record with relationships. Roxas is the only person who's ever really stuck with him.]

Who said I was getting it? I should make you go pick something up.

[Except that would mean letting him go and he's not in the mood right now.]

[Roxas shrugs and looks at him from where he's draped so lazily across him.]

I dunno, because that's the kind of stuff you do. If you leave it up to me, we're having ice cream.

No wonder you're still short. You need to start eating better, especially if you're going to start bugging me for kisses. It's too far to lean down.

Mean! I'll get taller! Taller than you!

[Roxas huffs a little]

Or I'll have to sit on you and do this.

[He leans up and goes to kiss Lea again. Because he's practically at his mercy!]

[Lea laughs and meets him halfway. No need to count the seconds or pull away, no need to distract himself. In a way, this is kind of like their real first kiss.]

[It's just as nice as the first kiss and Roxas grins at him. He likes it a lot. He curls up and snuggles to him.]

I like that. You're good at kissing.

[Lea ruffles his hair fondly, then thinks better of it and pets the soft blond spikes instead.]

You bet I am. You're lucky.

Yeah, I think so.

[The cuddling is pretty nice, but after awhile his stomach growls predictably. He blinks a few times and shrugs.]

Okay, Lea, I'm hungry.

Then go make dinner.

[Lea tosses him off the couch and proceeds to stretch out and take up all available space.]

Hey! That's not fair!

[Roxas gets up off the ground with a huff]

You said you were gonna get it!

[by_heart]

All I said was that you weren't getting ice cream for dinner. Never said I was gonna make something.

[It's the truth, actually, for once.]

Okay, fine, I'm making ice cream then.

Then you're gonna be short forever, like I said.

[He stretches his arms out, too, just to rub it in how obnoxiously tall he is.]

Need to start eating your veggies.

[Roxas rolls his eyes.]

Fine, I'll go out and get something.

No candy, either. Or cake. Go get boring grown up food. It's good for you.

Fine, if I have to.

[Roxas wanders out with a wave over his shoulder.]

[Lea waves and inwardly worries over just what he's going to come back with.]
